Why Handwriting Still Matters?
Writing by hand is quite different than making letters neatly. This activity actually helps develop small motor skills, enhances one’s ability to focus, and it has also been proved to aid children’s memory. These educational benefits were probably the reasons that many schools in India, after being away for a while, started handwriting practice once more. Competitions which are planned in advance offer the students a specific target, besides also rewarding them for the work they do.
People who live in the cities of Kolkata Ahmedabad Jaipur, Lucknow, and Chandigarh and are parents and teachers have, through the years, become more and more fond of such events as a solution to what they see as the problem of handwriting in children who use keyboards more than they do pens.
Who Can Participate?
- This event is for students attending various schools in India. (Classes from 1 to 12)
- Students can participate from cities and small towns throughout the country. There’s no restriction based on metro city or any other city
- Participants from schools and independent learners both are welcome (depend on your competition rules)
Eligibility | Handwriting Competition India
The Olympiad is open to students from Grade I to Grade XII and is divided into the following categories:
- Category A: Grades I – IV
- Category B: Grades V – VIII
- Category C: Grades IX – XII

Every participant is recognized for their effort and handwriting journey. Outstanding performers will receive special recognition at both School and National Levels.
