ପିଲା ବେଳେ ଶୁଣି ଥିଲି ଆମେ ଲେଖିଥିବା ଅକ୍ଷର ବା ହସ୍ତାକ୍ଷର,ଆମ ବାପା ମା ଙ୍କ ହାତ ଲେଖା ଅକ୍ଷର ପରି ହେଇ ଥାଏ  । କେହି କେହି କହନ୍ତି କାହାର ଡ୍ରଇଂ ଯେତେ ସୁନ୍ଦର ତାର ଅକ୍ଷର ବି ସେମିତି ସୁନ୍ଦର  । ଏଥିରୁ ଆମେ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ଜାଣି ପାରୁଛନ୍ତି କି ହସ୍ତାକ୍ଷର ର ଗୁରୁତ୍ଵ ଆମ ଜୀବନ ରେ ବହୁତ୍ ରହିଛି  । ଆମର ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ହସ୍ତାକ୍ଷର ରୁ ଜଣ ପଡ଼ିଥାଏ କି କେତେ ଉତ୍କୃଷ୍ଟ ଆମର ଚିନ୍ତାଧାରା ।

ଯେତେ ବେଳେ ପିଲା ଟିଏ ଖଡ଼ି ଛୁଏଁ ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଅକ୍ଷର ଲେଖା ଆରମ୍ଭ କରେ, ଗୋଲାକାର ବ୍ରହ୍ମନାଦ ରୁ ପ୍ରଥମ କରି ଲେଖିଥାଏ ତିନି ନାମ । ଯଥା :- ବ୍ରହ୍ମା , ବିଷ୍ଣୁ ଓ ମହେଶ୍ୱର । ହସ୍ତାକ୍ଷର ର ଆରମ୍ଭ ରୁ ତିନି ଗୋଲାକାର ଆମକୁ ଏହି ଦିଗ ଦେଖାନ୍ତି କି ” ଆମ ଅକ୍ଷର ହିଁ ଆମର ପରିଚୟ” । ଅକ୍ଷର ଆମ ଜୀବନ ରେ ଏକ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସ୍ଥାନ ଅଧିକାର କରିଛି। ତେଣୁ ଆମେ ଆମର ହସ୍ତାକ୍ଷର କୁ ବ୍ରହ୍ମା – ବିଷ୍ଣୁ – ମହେଶ୍ୱର ବୋଲି ଭାବିବା ଏବଂ  ସୁନ୍ଦର କରି ଲେଖିବା  । ଯେପରି ତିନି ଗୋଲାକାର , ସେଇ ଖଡ଼ି ଛୁଆଁ ଦିନ ଲେଖି ଥିଲେ ଆମେ  ।

ମୁଁ ଜଣେ ଶିକ୍ଷୟିତ୍ରୀ ହେଇଥିବାରୁ, ମତେ ପିଲାଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତାକ୍ଷର ଅନୁଧ୍ୟାନ କରିବା ତଥା ଅକ୍ଷର କୁ ସୁଧାରିବାର ରାସ୍ତା ଦେଖେଇବାକୁ ସୁଯୋଗ ମିଳି ପାରିଛି । ଆଜି କାଲି ପିଲା ମାନଙ୍କର ଲେଖା ଅଭ୍ୟାସ ଛାଡ଼ି ଯାଉଛି, ଯାହା କି ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଅକ୍ଷର ଗୁଡ଼ିକ ବଙ୍କା ,  ଟେଢ଼ା କରି ଲେଖି ପକାଉଛନ୍ତି । ଯଦି ଆମେ ଅଭିଭାବକ ମାନେ ପିଲାଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତାକ୍ଷର ପ୍ରତି ଟିକେ ଯତ୍ନବାନ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ ତେବେ ଦେଶ ରେ ହସ୍ତାକ୍ଷର ଆମର ବହୁତ ସୁନ୍ଦର ଏବଂ ଆଦୃତ ଲାଭ କରି ପାରନ୍ତେ । ଆମେ ପରା ଓଡ଼ିଆ ! ଆମ ଭାଷା ଭାରି ବଢିଆ । ଆମ ହସ୍ତାକ୍ଷର ବି ଭାରି ମଜାଦାର ଭାରି ବଢିଆ ।
